Job Description
A Line Cook transforms high-quality, unique ingredients into authentic Italian dishes through preparing, cooking and plating food items in CASASALVO’s kitchens. Reports to the Chef Salvo Lo Castro.
- Portions, cuts, slices, dips, batters, breads, whips, beats, maintains holding temperature, fries and sautés
- Selects cuts of meat, poultry, shellfish, fish, game or vegetables to be used for frying or sautéing
- Plates menu items along with appropriate garnish
- Follows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules and procedures, and Department of Health regulations
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a food preparation position
- Good knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptly
- Degree from a culinary arts training program preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays

- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers, ovens, torches, etc.
A Front End Sales Associate/Cashier handles payments and ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements. Reports to the Market Manager and Assistant Marketing Manager.
- Collects cash, checks or charge payments from guests and provides change and charge vouchers if appropriate
- Verifies accuracy of cash bank by counting cash, checks and charge payments at end of shift
- Obtains and reviews information regarding price changes
- Verifies employee discounts, returns, exchanges and voids with the assistance of the manager or shift lead
- Returns carts and baskets to their central distribution areas, takes back go-backs/damages, fixes displays, helps restock, and supports team members
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Basic knowledge of the functions of cash registers
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Job Requirements

We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea.
Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should also be able to work various shifts. Note: this position’s compensation includes salary and tips.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests.
Qualifications
- Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
Job Requirements

The Restaurant Manager assists in the day-to-day operations of CASASALVO’s store. Reports to the Management and oversees front-of-house store staff including cashiers and baristi.
- Supports the Shop AGM with hiring, assigning, training, evaluating and terminating employees
- Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves all employee and guests incidents
- Ensures exceptional service standards are consistently met and that activities are carried out effectively
- Inspects store and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Estimates front-of-house food and beverage needs, and supervises intake orders to ensure specifications
- Reviews financial information such as sales, inventory and costs to monitor budget
- Meets with bar personnel to plan the activities, special events, share information, etc.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experiencing leading or managing a front-of-house restaurant / store team
- Understanding of steps of service
- Outstanding communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in F&B Management or Hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage highly preferred
